A few variations on 24-minute comics.

Doubler, based on the words 'apple' and 'wizard' AND 'nomadic wasp' and 'x-men'.

The tripler variation, based on 'apple' and 'wizard' AND 'nomadic wasp' and 'x-men', AND 'poodle' and 'awkwardness' (cheatingly, inked and coloured waaay after the 24 minutes):

And finally the particularly unusual write-two-words-then-when-it-gets-picked-ignore-the-other-word-that-gets-drawn-with-it variation, based on 'nomadic wasp':

COFFEE AND COMMUNIST CATS (AND THE X-MEN) (MIKE THOMPSON)

Mike Thompson, one part of our glorious two-headed Leaderbeast, did this 24-comic that manages to cram in "cats", "communist" and "coffee", as well as everyone's favourite boarding school mutants.

And as if this wasn't enough, he also did me this lovely drawing of Frank Castle, The Punisher.  I don't know if that was his idea of a sexual advance, but it worked.

CATS AND FINGER PUPPETS (VARIOUS)

There's been an influx of new members at the last couple of meetings, so I've ended up a with a fairly large pile of 24-minute comics to post, not all of them with names attached.  These ones, from various assorted newbies, were inspired by "cats" and "finger puppets"...

7-UP MOONSHINE (VARIOUS)

Another comics jam, instigated as a change from the usual 24-minute comics.  It's consequences, taking - I vaguely remember - "7-Up" and "Moonshine" as inspiration, and throwing in "Giraffe" as a varation.

Terry Wiley started it, but I don't remember who did the next few panels (sorry), but I remember that Faye Stacey was sitting next to me and that I got in there after here and ruined it with some toilet humour.  My apologies.

CHEWING GUM DONUT CONGA (PAUL THOMPSON)

This looks like one of the frowned upon variations where more that two of the randomly generated words are used. No-one's frowning upon Paul Thompson's epic offering, however. You may need to rotate your screen.

When is a Pooh Bear not a Pooh Bear? Perhaps when he's Paddington Bear instead. Faye Stacey has a deviant art for further proof that she's dead good at drawing and such.

I ASSURE YOU, MADAM... (OSCILLATING BROW)

Occasionally, there's a variation on the rules, instead of picking two random words or phrases, numerous pairs are selected to create the "best" possible stimulus. Sometimes, participants choose to incorporate four rather than two random words. Frequently, people abandon sequentiality , in favour of the single image and caption format, and not that often, folks turn up late and start drawing. This is the eighteen-and-a-half-minute-multiple-word-gag-cartoon variation.

Doctor Parody Clown Eyebrows were the words. Oscillating Brow was the artist.
