Various Jams

Here are some various jams that have been sat in my scan pile for probably a year. Yeah, sorry about that.

Here they are now.

Sunderland Comic Con Jams Final Part

Jam comics are fun. These were done on the Sunday by Paper Jam folks and a bunch of other talented artist types including Hannah BerryHunt Emerson, Nigel AuchterlounieNeil Slorance, Katie White and Nuts and Seeds and probably some other brilliant people we haven't managed to identify.

If you drew on here and we haven't mentioned you comment and we'll add you.

Got to love comics.

Hippos vs fat ninjas (VARIOUS)

The post-meeting discussion in the pub turned to hippos and how they were (or were not) like fat ninjas. Then this jam comic happened.

Wolves Love Triangle - 24 Minute Comic! (Terry Wiley)

Another comic from our latest 24 minute escapades. To be honest with words like wolves and love triangle there was no way these comics were going to be anything but slightly wrong and twisted.

Sorry I've been a little slow in uploading these guys, more to come very soon.

WATCHIN' THE COLLECTIVES...2 (TERRY WILEY)

Andrew has been prodding me to sketch him, alas the likeness is not so good as his are.

FAKE BEARDS(LEY) (TERRY WILEY)

Someone was talking about Aubrey Beardsley tonight & I had a sudden urge to produce this:

It's a bit wonky, but OK, do you think?

WATCHIN' THE COLLECTIVES... (TERRY WILEY)

Here's a page of sketches of Paper Jams folkies I've been accumulating during the last few meetings...

Apologies to Gary for making him all "supaa-defoormu" but he kept moving! Gary added me to the bottom of the page despite the terrible slur ;)

TURTLE HAT (TERRY WILEY)

It has been my great pleasure to meet Terry Wiley through the Paper Jam meets - he's a great laugh and always full of good tips and advice.  He's also incredibly talented and prolific, which I usually choose to politely ignore, but it's becoming increasingly difficult when he keeps producing 24-minute comics of this calabre.  Git.

This one takes the words "Turtle" and "Hat" as inspiration.

7-UP MOONSHINE (VARIOUS)

Another comics jam, instigated as a change from the usual 24-minute comics.  It's consequences, taking - I vaguely remember - "7-Up" and "Moonshine" as inspiration, and throwing in "Giraffe" as a varation.

Terry Wiley started it, but I don't remember who did the next few panels (sorry), but I remember that Faye Stacey was sitting next to me and that I got in there after here and ruined it with some toilet humour.  My apologies.

GIRAFFE CANNONBALL (VARIOUS)

So this is a comics jam between Dan Gilmore and Terry Wiley (I think... correct me if I'm mistaken).

UNTITLED (TERRY WILEY)

Terry Wiley may be known to you through the comic Sleaze Castle, which if you don't know, you should read. Or at least look at the pictures. I think the words here were "Pooh Bear" and "Conga" but you don't care, you just want more comics don't you?
