Aww. You could almost say it was a ... CURE? (Eh? No? Sorry).

Cactus Trial (Oscillating Brow)

24-minute comic, the words were cactus and trial.

Outstanding.

Apple tree, apple tree, oh my little apple tree

A few variations on 24-minute comics.

Doubler, based on the words 'apple' and 'wizard' AND 'nomadic wasp' and 'x-men'.

The tripler variation, based on 'apple' and 'wizard' AND 'nomadic wasp' and 'x-men', AND 'poodle' and 'awkwardness' (cheatingly, inked and coloured waaay after the 24 minutes):

And finally the particularly unusual write-two-words-then-when-it-gets-picked-ignore-the-other-word-that-gets-drawn-with-it variation, based on 'nomadic wasp':

Just came across this little pile of 24 minute gold, thought it had already been shared so let's get on with it.

Mountain Generator (IAN MAYOR)

Ian Mayor is a jerk. He consistently does great 24-minute comics and then flat refuses to bother scanning them. So this is a rarity - one of his, based on the words 'mountain' and 'generator'.

Metal (OSCILLATING BROW)

This 24-minute comic (probably failed and completed after time was up) was a tripler, based on THREE pairs of words: 'iron' and 'flesh', 'offal' and 'donkey', and 'treasure' and 'nothing'. All three of which kind of sound like metal band names, but I bet Offal Donkey in particular are pretty hardcore.

Well-Spirit Peas (OSCILLATING BROW)

A 24-minute comic based on the words 'well-spirit' and 'peas'. If you didn't see that punchline coming, shame on you.

Jerk Crows (OSCILLATING BROW)

A 24-minute comic based on the words 'jerk' and 'crows'. Crows aren't actually jerks. Seagulls are jerks.

Mouse Disguise (OSCILLATING BROW)

A 24-minute comic probably based on the words 'mouse' and 'disguise' (or something like that? records are slightly hazy).

Blimp Hat (OSCILLATING BROW)

A 24-minute comic (though it's a bit of a cheat, just being a three-panel gag strip) based on the words 'blimp' and 'hat'.

Detective Troglodyte (OSCILLATING BROW)

A 24-minute comic based on the words 'detective' and 'troglodyte'. It might slightly confuse 'underground' with 'undercover'.

Beautiful Illusion Hamster Cheese (OSCILLATING BROW)

A 24-minute comic, using two sets of words: 'beautiful' and 'illusion' and 'hamster' and 'cheese'. AND it was finished (except for greys) on time for once.

Tawny Owl Sushi Duck World Radgie Gods (OSCILLATING BROW)

 

Another failed 24-minute comic (completed after the time was up) but it was a tripler - based on three pairs of words: 'tawny owl' and 'sushi', 'duck' and 'world', and 'radgie' and 'gods'.

Twitter 24 Minute Comic - Ultrasonic Stilts

Yesterday I decided to put up some 24 minute comic words on our Twitter account (@paperjamcc). Those words were Ultrasonic and Stilts. This is the comic En Gingerboom made based on those words:

The Twitter 24 Minute comics should be a regular thing, to that end I encourage you all to also draw a comic based on the words ultrasonic and stilts and share them with us. More words will follow in the future.
